It works just as demonstrated in the video. Easiest cork removal ever, and it keeps the cork intact.

I’m a Senior and probably shouldn’t be drinking - but hey, this cork genius is sooo amazing - I still can! I was very skeptical that I wouldn’t be able to work it at my age, but I thought I would give it a try! Hell-lo, now no more calling the kids or grandkids over to open Grandma’s wine anymore; I can do it myself with my Wine Genius and I don’t have to hear them tell me I shouldn’t be drinking wine anyway! An interesting corkscrew, it works fine, but in different ways, depending on the type of wine stopper. Gently, the needle stings slightly for plastic protection.
